Privacy notice

This is a pre-launch privacy notice for the current calculator-only version of Get The Total. Before public launch, the site operator’s legal name, contact email, address where required, and privacy contact must be added here.

What the calculator does now

Amounts entered into the VAT and mortgage calculators are processed in your browser to show a result. The calculator does not send those amounts to Get The Total.

Optional calculation history

Only if you select “Enable history”, up to eight recent results are stored in your browser’s local storage on that device. They are not sent to us. You can clear them from the Recent calculations panel or through browser settings.

No advertising or analytics yet

The current version does not include advertising scripts, analytics, tracking pixels, quote forms, accounts, or affiliate tracking. These must not be added until this notice, the cookies notice, and any necessary consent process have been updated.

Future personal data

If you choose to contact us, request a quote, subscribe, or use a future account feature, we will publish a revised notice before collecting that information. It will explain the purpose, legal basis, recipients, retention period, and how to exercise applicable privacy rights.

Changes

We will review this notice whenever the site’s data use changes. Please also read the cookies and device storage notice.
